Background
I have almost a decade's experience across visual and digital product design. Whether the brief is a new service, product or identity, I start with what the audience needs and what the business requires, and design to both. The result should be considered, useful, and answer a real problem.
Product Design
I have worked as an engineer, a user experience designer and a product manager, which has given me a working knowledge of the full development pipeline. That technical grounding makes collaboration with engineering straightforward, from early ideation through to delivery. I have brought products to market with Novartis, River Island, Strava and Post Office.
Visual Design
My work tends towards restraint prioritising clarity over decoration, and ensuring every element is present for a reason. I am interested in how form and function hold together, and in work that carries across mediums and formats without losing its logic.
